Terms and Conditions for The Soup Company Fundraising Program
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the partnership between The Soup Company (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and organizations (“you” or “your”) participating in our fundraising program. By engaging with us for fundraising purposes, you agree to these terms.
2. Product Pricing

You may sell our artisan dry packaged soups, cookies, and cornmeal muffins at a price of your choosing.

Our wholesale price for these products is $11 per item, which covers our costs.

We recommend a retail price of $16 to $18 per item, allowing you to retain all proceeds above our wholesale price.
3. Product Offerings

Our fundraising products include our large-sized soups (Beef & Barley, Chicken Noodle, Coconut Curry, Dill Pickle, French Onion, Lemon Dill, Mexican Taco, Minestrone, Potato Cheddar and Split Pea), with gluten-friendly options available (GF Chicken Noodle, GF Coconut Curry, GF Dill Pickle, GF Lemon Dill, GF Minestrone and GF Split Pea), as well as cookies (Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies and Grandma’s Oatmeal Raisin Cookies) as well as our Cornmeal Muffins.
4. Fundraising Process

To initiate a fundraiser, you must:

Confirm your fundraising start and end dates with us.

Complete our online form to provide necessary information for the selling form, which we will supply to you.

You are permitted to print and distribute as many copies of the selling form as needed to your supporters.
5. Order and Payment

Upon reaching your fundraiser’s end date, you must contact us with your total order quantities and payment.

We prefer payment via e-transfer or certified cheque.

Payment must be received before we process your order.
6. Order Fulfillment

Once payment is received, please allow 2-3 weeks for us to fulfill your order.

Products can be picked up at our Edmonton warehouse or shipped via Canada Post at your organization’s expense.
7. Refund and Return Policy

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or provide refunds once the order has been placed, except in cases of damaged or defective products. In such cases, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment.
8. Marketing and Promotion

You may promote your fundraising event using the materials provided by us, including the selling form. However, any additional marketing materials must be used at your own discretion.
9. Liability

The Soup Company is not responsible for any damages, losses, or issues arising from your fundraising efforts, including but not limited to supplier ingredient quality, delivery delays, or sales disputes.
10. Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to fundraising activities.
11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Soup Company from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your fundraising activities.
12. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing.
13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Edmonton, Alberta].
